Thank You for your support!

Thank you to those who have become followers. I am ashamed to admit I have been trying to spruce up my blog by adding links to my etsy store but I don't seem to be able to figure it out. Oh and what the heck is a "widget"???? I never thought I was that far out of the loop... Well guess I'll keep plugging along. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

  1. Hi! Yes, there's so many new things to figure out about blogging. I'm new to blogging, too, and just found out about widgets last month :) It's been a lot of fun.

To add your Etsy store link: When you're logged onto Etsy, Go to the "Your Etsy" tab at the top of the page. On the left column, there is a section that says "Promote" and under that is "Etsy Mini." Then you can choose how you want your Etsy Mini to look. Then there you copy the code in the "javascript box". That's the "widget" code :)

Then when you're on you're Blogger dashboard, go to Layout. Click on "Add a Gadget." Click on "Html/Javascript." Paste the code that you copied from the Etsy page and save. Then it should show up on your blog.

Hope this helps! Feel free to email me if you need help with anything else! Hope you have a great day!

  4. Hey Jessie don't feel bad about not having known how to do an etsy mini, we all have to learn something some time as we are not naturally born with this knowledge. There's a ton of stuff I still need to know about making a blog...have the instructions on making a third column in my blog, but I'm afraid to give it a try as I might mess the who thing up. To add a third column one has to go into the original template and add stuff to the HTML codes...to me that is very scary !=O

BTW I found your blog through an etsy forums thread on blog followers. I well remember how, over a year ago, I sat around with a blog and zero followers. I was pretty lonely back then! I'm now a new follower of yours and hope you can check out my blog. :)
